We are excited to announce the new NikoHealth 1.25 release with enhancements to the point of sale transactions, new retail price option, order queue improvements and addition of service location functionality.

Point of Sale Enhancements

Bill To Selection

A Bill To option has been introduced that allows you select how you would like to bill an item. You can choose to bill directly to the patient or an available payer.

Improved Shopping Cart

We have improved the shopping cart experience.

  • You can now select a price option during the checkout process from your cart.
  • A Non-Billable price option selection has been introduced. This Non-Billable option will create an invoice with a $0 charge.
  • Shipping Address / Pickup Location – when selecting a pickup branch location or patient address any applicable tax rate will be calculated accordingly.
  • Order Summary with charge amounts

 

Introduction of Service Location

We have introduced that ability to add or modify a service location on an order. Currently you can assign a master location to the patient’s profile, and now we have introduced the ability to manage this on the order and invoice level. If a patient were to be dispensed items from a location different than what is currently assigned to the profile,  you can select the appropriate location on the order. This feature allows you to track and manage orders and invoices by location dispensing them.

In addition, you can use this service location on reports such as the order history and invoice detail.

Improved Orders and Invoices Queue

The orders queue has been updated to provide additional information including

  • The service location assigned to the order and invoice
  • The last modified date of the order
New Retail Price Option

A new Retail Price option type has been introduced to help you manage retail specific pricing.
