Our latest release is available with new features, improvements and tweaks to help your team make the day to day tasks easier.

We have added new features and updated the design of the product selection flow when creating a new order. You can now see the availability of stock of an item across a specific or all warehouse locations by using the warehouse filter. The product name filter was improved to allow your search results to display by full or partial text. At this step you now select the quantity of the item being ordered.

Backorder Functionality

If  you run out of stock of an item you can now backorder the item when creating or modifying an order. When doing so the system will generate a purchase order according to the vendor and product information you have defined.

Inventory Commitment

If you wish to reserve inventory for specific orders you can now do so at order creation. When you reserve an item it will change this item from an active inventory status to a reserved status for the selected warehouse location.

Warehouse Bin Locations

A bin location helps to simplify the inventory management processes, ensuring your team knows exactly where to store and find products. Bin locations are used to specify where items of inventory are to be stored and used to help pick items for order fulfilment.

You can define bin location rules for products based on specific inventory locations.

Go to : management/inventory/locations and select the bin rules tab.

Here you can select the product(s) and assign a Bin Name and Bin Description. This bin name will be displayed in the inventory queue for the specific product and available on the inventory activity and inventory location reports. In addition the bin location will be available on the packing slip when batch printing from the orders queue.
